Avon Lake City Schools

Avon Lake City Schools serve approximately 3,600 students in grades K-12 with 250 teachers. Avon Lake City Schools consist of seven buildings: Avon Lake High School (grades 9-12) Learwood Middle School (grades 7-8) Troy Intermediate School (grades 5-6) Eastview Elementary School (grades K-4) Erieview Elementary School (grades K-4) Redwood Elementary School (LEAPS and grades K-4) Westview Elementary School (grades K-4) The ultimate goal of the Avon Lake City Schools is increased achievement for all students through district efforts and initiatives. As a result of student performance for the 2007-2008 school year, the Avon Lake City Schools earned a performance accountability rating of Excellent with Distinction on the state of Ohio District Report Card having met 30 of 30 performance indicators.
