The Australian Society of Orthodontists Inc. is the member association for specialist orthodontists in Australia. We represent the most qualified practitioners to provide orthodontic care. We provide information about orthodontic treatment and help patients understand their treatment options. We rely on university and hospital research to ensure we act in the best interests of the patient. The ASO has no financial interest in any orthodontic companies or techniques. The ASO is involved in teaching across all accredited orthodontic university courses in Australia and funding orthodontic research. It provides ongoing orthodontist education to its members to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest scientific developments and research.
