The Australian Lot Feeders Association is the peak national body for the feedlot industry in Australia. Feedlots are an important industry in Australia. Our mission is to lead the industry in a manner that fosters excellence and integrity; improves the feedlot business environment; and ensures its community standing. ALFA has four main roles: Represent the cattle feedlot industry; Direct the expenditure of the grain fed cattle transaction levy within Animal Health Australia, the National Residue Survey and Meat & Livestock Australia; Improve the industry through standards, training, events, leadership, awards, careers development and employment facilitation; and Membership services
