Austin Health Partners was founded by 3 independent care centers in the Austin area Cedar Park Pediatric & Family Medicine, Southwest Pediatrics, and Treehouse Pediatrics. We believe that independent physicians deliver the best quality care possible and we are here to continue to support them. So our mission is to help independent practices stay independent. Smaller independent practices can struggle to keep up to date on value-based contracts, quality metrics and government regulations. Many practices are considering either closing their doors or selling their practice to hospital systems or larger corporations. We started this group for exactly these reasons. We firmly believe that physicians should be the leaders in healthcare and that independent practices provide better care at lower costs.
