Audubon Schools

Audubon Schools operates two high demand public elementary schools offering a high-quality, non-traditional education for New Orleans students with programming not available at any other public school in the city. We focus on cultivating the whole child through individualized hands-on learning, multi-cultural and language exposure, and emphasis on arts education. Established in 1981 as a Montessori school, Audubon Charter School also became an official French School in an historical agreement between the French Government and the State of Louisiana. It was chartered in 2006 under the governance of the Board of French and Montessori Education, Inc. (FAME, Inc.).
