We see the opportunity to emulate the growth of China, India, Vietnam and Malaysia among other economic success stories in the region. We are fundamentally bullish on Bangladesh and see the scope for foreign direct and portfolio investment to grow very quickly. This, along with export diversification from the current reliance on textiles, into a broader range of offshore manufacturing production, can underpin an economy that is growing sustainably at 8% rather than 5-6%.
