Amigos focuses on improving the economic, educational and environmental conditions of Santa Cruz La Laguna and its 7 surrounding villages through its programs and CECAP Vocational Training Center. We are committed to generating sustainable change, so we reject the idea of handouts, instead we focus on building capabilities, developing soft and hard skills and providing platforms and resources that enable the community of over 9000 people to help themselves. Amigos works daily because we believe that by creating the necessary conditions, a community will be able and motivated to flourish. Amigos has its offices in the heart of the community it serves, where it can interact, meet and learn from the community.
