AMG Lithium GmbH

AMG Lithium GmbH (AMG Lithium), is a subsidiary of AMG Critical Materials N.V. (AMG) which is a globally operating group for critical metals, mineral products, highly specialized furnace systems and related services with over 3,600 employees. AMG Lithium is headquartered in the Industriepark Hochst in Frankfurt, Germany. We focus on the production of high-quality lithium-containing materials for the Energy Storage sector, preliminary materials for the next generation of Li-ion batteries needed for electromobility. AMG Lithium is going to construct a refinery plant for Lithium Hydroxide Battery Grade (LiOH) in the Leipzig area, Germany. Scheduled commissioning of the plant is end of 2022. In Frankfurt, AMG Lithium operates research labs to support the production facility. In addition, we do research and development on novel materials for next-generation batteries.
