The American Missionary Hospital in Tanta was first established in 1897 by some of missionary ophthalmologists from USA and serves the area of Tanta and Nile Delta. The American Hospital has grown and changed as the years have gone past. The hospital currently has 112 beds, serving both adult and pediatric patients. There are incubators available to assist in the care of newborn babies. We are the only private hospital among the Delta area that has CT scan, blood bank, a 14 bed capacity Intensive Care Unit, 20 hemodialysis machines & a wide green zone.
