The American Gem Society (AGS) is a nonprofit trade association that has stood for consumer protection, ethics, and ongoing education since 1934. Our members are held to the industrys highest standards and our credentialed members, also known as titleholders, are required to pass an annual recertification exam in order to maintain their AGS titles.
