AME Community Services

Our agency began providing services for people with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) in 1992. Over the years we have grown from serving a handful of individuals with PWS to serving a variety of diagnoses, among them, Autism, Downs Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and we have become a well known and respected provider in the Prader-Willi community. We currently have 16 residential homes in Buffalo, Monticello, Cokato, as well as all around the Metro area. We also provide in home services for individuals and families in many of these areas. Each home has a maximum of four residents. When establishing a home, we attempt to match the residents according to their abilities, interests, and personalities. Each home is structured according to the needs of the people living in it. Dignity and respect are given to the needs, values, and characteristics of these individuals and their families.
