The Alzheimer Society has a rich tradition of support in Simcoe County. Founded in 1985, the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County is a registered charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. It is committed to providing the highest quality programs and services to support its vision of seeing people with Alzheimers disease and other dementias live well and thrive in their community. The Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County offers: Education programs for people living with Alzheimers disease and other dementias, their care partners, health care professionals and the general public. First Link care navigation and supportive counselling services are available to people living with dementia, and care partners.
