The de la Motte family has been fabricating counter surfaces since 1954! Starting in Turlock Ca., in what was formally the Olive Street Plaining Mill. Eventually the business became Artcraft Industries. In the late 60s and early 70s Glenn de la Motte started servicing the Mother Lode area with custom made laminate counters. Along with his son Matt they sold their interest in Artcraft and open a business in Sonora in 1980. Allcove Kitchens and Baths. After Glenn retired Matt and Susie changed the name to Allcove Inc.
