African Students and Alumni Forum

ASAF is a platform for African students, staff, alumni and professionals who have benefited from international mobility scholarships funded by the European Union. The platform offers opportunities for exchange, collaboration, and capacity building. ASAF is organised by its members who work on a voluntary basis. It is funded by the European Union and managed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). ASAFs overall objective is to enhance learning mobility, innovation and competitiveness in Africa by supporting young peoples employability, career perspectives and entrepreneurship as well as strengthening their participatory and leadership skills. More specifically, ASAF wants to help improve the quality and harmonisation of higher education, increase the transparency and recognition of learning outcomes in Africa and raise awareness of EU-funded international mobility programmes.
