The Acadia Investment Council (AIC) is a student-run asset management organization in Wolfville, Nova Scotia as part of the F.C. Manning School of Business. We consist of fourteen undergraduate students, four members of the executive committee, five senior analysts and five junior analysts. Managing a simulated portfolio consisting of securities belonging to sectors of Energy, Financials, Consumer Staples, Industrials and Technology, we hope to eventually transcend towards a true equity portfolio. As part of Acadia University, we actively engage our student body in financial education, motivating students to become financially literate and to learn more about the financial industry
