About Us

AAC Optics brings innovation to image capture user experiences. We design and manufacture Wafer Level Glass (WLG) lenses, plastic lenses, hybrid lenses, actuators, and modules. Together with algorithms, and image quality testing and tuning, we create integrated imaging solutions for the naked eye as well as machine vision and computational imaging. AAC Optics was founded in 2008, and the first lens was mass produced in 2009. Additional lens design expertise was also acquired to further support our efforts to grow into a major optics provider. In 2010 we invested in Kaleido Technology, providers of ultra-precise optical technologies, and subsequently completed a full acquisition to merge innovation with mass production.
