Mission: To develop and maintain capable combat-ready Civil Affairs units ready for mobilization and deployment in security cooperation, crisis response, limited contingency operations, and large scale combat operations in support of Army and Joint Force requirements. Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 352d Civil Affairs Command was constituted on 31 January 1966 in the Army Reserve as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 352d Civil Affairs Area. It was activated at Washington, D.C. The units location changed on 11 January 1970 to Riverdale, Md., and it was re-designated on 1 June 1975 to its current designation as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 352d Civil Affairs Command. The units location changed again on 16 December 2006 to its current location at Fort Meade, Md.
