The Bank commenced operations in 1997 and engages in general banking business through its main office (Uptown) and one branch (Chinatown) in the Chicago, Illinois, metropolitan area. The Bank is a certified Minority Depository Institution (MDI) under the US Treasurys Financial Management Services Minority Bank Deposit Program (MBDP). The Bank offers a MDI CRA Certificate of Deposit product to other insured institutions allowing them to earn CRA credit as part of the FDICs MDI collaborative initiatives.
